Welcome to Scioto Catholic Young Saints,

our home-based catechesis and discipleship program designed

to equip and inspire you and your family to become, well...Saints!

Recent studies show that the most effective way to KEEP children invested in their faith is to see the faith lived at home, modeled by parents and guardians.

Scioto Catholic Young Saints allows children to grow in their relationship with Jesus and their love for His Church in the comfort of their homes,

with loving investment from their family.

On these Sundays, families will gather together and watch a short video about a topic of the faith (examples: who is God, how can we come to know Him, how do I follow Him).  Following the video, parents will guide their kids through a follow up activity.  All the materials are provided!

Every month in our Church, we celebrate the feast days of different Saints, men and women throughout history who have showed the joy of following Jesus.  On 2nd and 4th Sundays, we will send out a video for you to watch together as a family about the life of a Saint.  At the end of the video, there will be a fun activity for you to do together in honor of that Saint.

Throughout the whole month, we will give you daily Bible verses and prayer prompts to pray as a family.  You will also receive a family prayer journal that will help you see how Jesus is working in your family's life.

In the midst of these restrictions, it can be easy to feel disconnected from the Church.

We want you and your children to know that you are a part of our parish family, even if we can't be together face-to-face.  For this reason, we have formed a Family Support Team.  This team will reach out to you throughout the month to ask if you have prayer intentions, to drop off treats and say hi to your family, and to answer any questions you have about the lessons!
