At St. John Paul II Scioto Catholic Parish, we exist to belong completely to Jesus Christ through the loving hands of Mary. Inspired by the life and witness of St. John Paul II, we seek to give ourselves without reserve to God, trusting that in surrender we discover our true freedom, purpose, and joy.

Rooted in the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith, we are formed as a people who know Christ personally, love Him deeply, and follow Him courageously. Through the Sacraments, the proclamation of the Word, and a vibrant life of prayer, we strive to become intentional disciples—men and women transformed by grace and committed to holiness in every aspect of life.

As a parish family, we are called not only to gather, but to be sent. United in charity, we accompany one another in faith, strengthen families, and cultivate a culture of life, dignity, and truth. With hearts open to the Holy Spirit, we go forth to serve the poor, welcome the stranger, and bring hope to those searching for meaning.

Entrusting ourselves to Mary, and echoing the bold faith of our patron, we embrace our mission with courage: to open wide the doors to Christ, to proclaim the Gospel with joy, and to become a living witness that every human life finds its fulfillment in Him.
