Raising kids to love JESUS isn't easy. It's not for the faint of heart.
But we at Scioto Catholic believe that God gives us GRACE to do the things
that seem impossible, that seem beyond our ability. And we want to
support YOU, parents, in your mission to raise faith-filled Catholics.
Here is a list of ways to help
your family grow this Lent.

Schedule a MEET UP
Every Day with Jesus So You Can Grow Closer to Him
Work on learning memorized prayers like the Our Father, Hail Mary, & Glory Be. If you know those prayers, consider saying a decade of the Rosary or the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
Read one of the Bible passages and talk about what it means to each of you.
Take turns saying things that you are thankful for that day.
Listen to a song from the Scioto Catholic Youtube playlist.
Use the 'Nightly Examen for a Holier Tomorrow' steps to examen your day.
Pray for specific people who are in need of your prayers (classmates, teachers, priests, those who are sick, people in prison, the poor, etc.).
